What makes kennel turf different from regular artificial grass?

Turf built for dogs uses enhanced drainage and durable fibers that resist wear from claws and heavy use.

How easy is it to clean artificial grass in a dog kennel?

Very easy. The surface can be hosed down and cleaned with disinfectants suitable for animal areas. The strong drainage helps keep standing water and odor from building up.

Is artificial grass suitable for dogs to play on daily?

Yes. Quality dog turf is built for daily use and gives a consistent, even surface, without the muddy, slippery conditions natural grass develops under heavy paw traffic.

How long does artificial grass last in a commercial dog facility?

That depends far more on the base work and the cleaning routine than on the turf itself. A kennel run that was excavated, compacted, and graded properly, then rinsed on a schedule, stays serviceable a great deal longer than one laid over a shortcut base.

How does artificial grass handle Texas summer temperatures?

Like any outdoor surface in full sun, turf warms up during peak summer temperatures. Rinsing it down brings the surface temperature back down, and shade structures help in areas used through the middle of the day.
